To the readers who contend that that this is a balanced account and not a whitewashing, I have one question: would you be so charitable to a similarly "balanced" account that subordinates the horrific and unspeakable crimes of Nazi Germany to some relatively trivial and disgustingly pretentious scholarly reseach on how the holocaust has been manipulated since WWII?
