Not being an Evangelical myself , this is a challenging book to read and review.

Five views on the Bible, its truthfulness, purpose and origin.
An interesting book on biblical inerrancy, thought the title is a bit misleading since all the contributors in the book do not hold to biblical inerrancy.

Equal parts engaging, provocative, and frustrating
The "five views" presented herein cover a wide range of views on the Bible, from ultraconservative inerrancy to postmodern deconstruction all from contributors who are ostensibly part of the evangelical tradition.

Excellent treatment of THE most fundamental doctrine of Christianity
IF the Bible is not inerrant then we as Christians are, as the Apostle Paul said in I Corinthians 15:19 to be pitied more so than anyone because if it is not inerrant then who decides what parts are and are not correct?
