would you be brave enough?
Written from a young adult’s perspective, 10 year old Annemarie Johansen’s story is fiction but based on fact and true life experiences during the Nazi occupation of Denmark in 1943.

A gem! Amazing experience with middle-school Special Education students.
My Special Ed middle-school students have a hard time reading; some of them can't decode well enough to read grade-level text, and others can 'read' but can't understand what they read.
