It's like he stopped in the middle and just shut the plot down.
I'm a fan of the earlier Arkady books, but this one is just plain lame.

good
The only reason the first critic detracted from the 7th Arkady novel subplot was because it showed a substrata of society deals in human slavery & trade--and will go to ANY lengths to get a slave back--\"even to the ends of the earth,\" which is alot like our modern governments---\"security\" forces...

MORE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
Three Stations is the seventh adventure of Russian police investigator/detective Arkady Renko.

Good, but lacking
This book could have had a five-star review were it not so short.

a masterpiece
While not as powerful as Wolves eat dogs, Three Stations is an exceptionally good book, a masterpiece of writing by Martin Cruz Smith.
